meet the artists.

I employ a range of materials to explore my ideas, including ceramics, printmaking and charcoal drawings. More recently I have returned to woodcarving, creating sculptures for the garden, which contain strong elements of their organic origins while being abstract in form. The ideas I strive to express are personal reflections on life's emotional and spiritual challenges. I find a rich source of inspiration in the woods and landscape which surround my home, and the forms and rhythms of twisted leaf, craggy bark, fungus scales, burst seedpod and the record of movement and time contained therein.
