The transient nature of the coastal environment challenges this painter to explore its dynamics within her work. She gained a scholarship to do her M.A.C.F.A. in 2007. She recently finished a year as artist in residence at Cumbria University working on aquatints. Since then she has had numerous exhibitions and frequently works on commissions.
Ros enjoys the challenge of painting the sea around Cumbria and Scotland in all weathers, and in particular enjoys the turbulent sea in winter.
