Christine Davies

Born in Hong Kong in 1949, I was educated both there and in Edinburgh and have lived in many different parts of the world.
I paint in watercolour, acrylics and oils and won the Torness prize at the Berwickshire Art Society show in July 2009 for a watercolour painting of an Indian pavilion.
We retired to the Borders in 2001 and I am never happier than when in my studio, working away. I just wish there was more time! Each year I begin by saying I am going to devote more of my life to painting
